mongorm 0.7.0 script details mongorm is like any ORM (object-relational mapper), but because MongoDB works with documents instead of relational tables, it must be accurately named an ODM instead of an ORM.
It's purpose is the same, working like an ORM nevertheless.
mongorm creates a simple abstraction layer, allowing programmers to write Python-specific syntax which mongorm converts into MongoDB-specific SQL commands for interacting with the database engine.
